Time Left Before the Shipshewana Horse Auction Starts!

Please help save them from a death that no living being deserves.

On March 21st, at the Shipshewana auction, there will be many kill buyers with plenty of cash in hand to purchase horses for slaughter. Their intent will be to purchase as many horses as they can. They will not think twice about the suffering and torture that the horses will be forced to endure. They will be entirely focused on filling their pockets with the money that they will make from horse meat.

At the same time, at the same auction, there will be Horse Lovers and those from Rescues who will be trying their very best to save as many lives as they can.

In order for Tiny Hooves Rescue to be a part of rescuing horses from a horrific death that no living being deserves to be subjected to, money is needed to pay for and provide for them. Without money to buy them, provide shelter for them, provide them with any medical attention that they may need and money to feed them, we have no way of helping in the effort.

We receive no funding, our existence entirely depends on donations from those who have a special place in their hearts for horses. We receive no breaks in prices for hay, feed, shavings for stalls, building materials for lean to's and upkeep of the barn, ferrier costs, vet care, or any other needs that the horses have. It is all provided by caring individuals just like yourself who kindly donate to help them.

Being that the auction is coming up very soon, we only have a short time to raise the money that's necessary to help them, and we need your help.

How can you help?

* Please donate Empty Printer Ink Cartridges, Toner Cartridges and Cell Phones that are no longer need to Tiny Hooves Foal Rescue to help raise funds. Collect them from your friends, family, co-workers, fellow church members, social group and anyone else that you can think of.

* Please have a bake sale or any other fund raiser and donate the money that you raise to help in the effort.

* Ask your Church congregation, School, Social Club members, 4-H group, Girl Scout Troop, Boy Scout Troop or any other Caring Group to help by donating cartridges and cell phones.

* If you are a Musician or have another Talent, please hold a benefit to help raise money to save and to support the horses, or perhaps donate a few of your newest releases to be sold or auctioned.

* Donate items from our Wish List.

* If you have items that you no longer need please donate them to us so that we can sell them to help raise money.

* If you are someone with a following, please ask those that admire you to help by donating ink cartridges and cell phones.

Along with your donation please include your name, along with the names of anyone else who contributes to saving the horses, so that everyone who helps in the effort will be added to our "Foals Angels".

* If you have room in your barn and in your heart to provide a home for a horse that is at the auction, please contact us asap. The more homes that we have for the horses the more we will be able to save.

* If you are a Rescue and would like us to buy horses for you to rescue from the auction in please contact us asap.

Being that we need to provide for the horses long after they get here, as well as rescue others that are in need of our help, please note that there is no cut off date for sending cartridges, cell phones or other donations. Your help is always greatly appreciated!
