By opening your barn and
your heart you can make
a wonderful difference in the life of a foal or horse!
The adoption fee for
each foal/ horse is on their personal website.
If you would like to adopt 2 or more, the adoption fee is adjusted to a lower
fee.
(please know that if you are adopting more then one you are agreeing to keep them together - separation is not
an option!)
Why an adoption fee?
Adoption fees are used to help provide those in our care with medical care and
expenses,
ferrier expenses, milk replacer, feed, tack, hay, other necessities, and to
rescue foals.
(foals are not given to us, we must have cash in hand in order to
rescue them)
If you are interested in adoption, please complete an Adoption Application.

Our 3 Step Adoption Process:
Step 1: Submit an application for the foal/horse or foals/horses that you are interested in adopting. (in order to prevent anyone else adopting those that you choose a deposit is recommended - you can send it to us by way of mail or through paypal - no foal or horse will be held without a deposit)
Step 2: A simple property inspection is performed and your references (including vet and ferrier) are contacted.
Step 3: Once approved, submit the remaining adoption fee and arrange for a day and time to come and pick up your new foal/horse.
Thats it!
The
wonderful and life long bond with your new foal/horse begins!
Why an application process is necessary:
* To prevent people from obtaining a foal/horse only to resell it after they get it.
* To ensure that the person who wants a foal/horse is actually able to care for it properly throughout the foals/horses lifetime.
* To prevent a foal/horse from spending its life getting shifted from home to home to home to home.
* To prevent a foal/horse from being mistreated, abused or neglected.
* To protect a foal/horse from becoming a victim of an auction or slaughterhouse.
* To prevent a foal/horse from being obtained for breeding purposes.
Upon reading the above reasons we are
sure that anyone who is actually serious about owning a foal or horse will agree
that it's in the foal's or horse's best interest that we try our best to make
sure that the home that they go to will be a loving and forever one, and you
wouldn't want any less for them.
